Abstract

Artist Statement

I ask myself every day, "What else is possible?" Raised in Mexico with a blend of Mexican and Japanese cultural influences, I carry both Catholicism and Buddhist traditions in my heart. This fusion of rich cultures shapes my worldview and informs my creativity. My art is a reflection of this diverse upbringing, where the vibrant colors and textures of life come alive on the canvas. Through each piece, I explore the harmony of these contrasting elements—melding the vivid intensity of Mexican culture with the serene simplicity of Japanese aesthetics. Color and texture are not just tools in my art; they are my language, my way of expressing the vast possibilities I see in the world.
